PETALUMA (BCN) — Petaluma police announced that public assistance led to the arrest of a suspect in a burglary at a Kohl’s department store last week.
The shoplifting incident occurred at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday in the
Kohl’s store on 1363 N. McDowell Blvd., according to police.
A suspect, identified by police as Tyler Von Rembow, allegedly stole a number of items and then fled from security personnel at the store.
The 26-year-old man was later identified and arrested based on a number of tips Petaluma police received.
The suspect, who was reported to be a transient, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was booked into Sonoma County Jail, police said.
