REDWOOD CITY (BCN, KRON) — Officers arrested three men in a search of a Redwood City neighborhood after a burglary this afternoon, police said.

A neighbor spotted someone hopping a fence at an unoccupied home in the 1200 block of Foothill Street at about 2:30 p.m., police Lt. Sean Hart said.

Officers responded and found one suspect still outside in a car. Two other suspects ran from the home.

Police have identified the suspects as 18-year-old Tyson Garcia, of Mountain View; 18-year-old Keanu Otero Tejada, of East Palo Alto; and 18-year-old Gianni Monterrosa, of Hayward.

Police arrested the suspect in the car and shut down area streets while searching for the other two suspects, asking residents to stay indoors, Hart said.

They eventually found the other two suspects in a yard-to-yard search, Hart said. Officers also found a gun in one of the yards but they have not determined if the burglars had it or if it was stolen from the home.

The search was concluded by about 4 p.m. Police are still trying to confirm the name of the suspects and have not released their names, Hart said.
