Detectives search for a home intruder in Rohnert Park

(BCN) – Detectives are looking for a man who forced his way into an apartment early this morning in Rohnert Park, department of public safety officers said.

The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety received a report at about 4:10 a.m. of a man who forced his way into an apartment on Beverly Drive, according to public safety officers.

Residents of the apartment awoke and found the man standing over them, public safety officers said.

The suspect fled after a female victim in the room screamed, according to public safety officers. The victim screamed when she felt the suspect move the bedsheets, public safety officers said.

Surveillance video showed the alleged man trying to get into a number of apartments before gaining access to the victim’s, according to public safety officers.

The video also shows the alleged suspect getting into a white two-door Scion tC after he left the victim’s apartment, public safety
officers said.

Officers are describing the alleged suspect as a Hispanic man about 25 to 30 years old with a medium to heavy build and possibly a small goatee, according to public safety officers.
