Three men sought in armed robbery at Peninsula gas station

SAN MATEO COUNTY (KRON) — Authorities are looking for three men suspected of robbing a gas station on Marsh Road in San Mateo County Saturday night.

At around 7:25 p.m., the three armed suspects entered the Valero Gas Station at 743 Marsh Road in North Fair Oaks neighborhood, according to San Mateo County sheriff’s officials.

The suspects tried to open the cash register but were unable to do so. The men demanded that the store’s clerk to open the register, which he did, sheriff’s officials said.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot into the surrounding neighborhood.

Deputies searched the area for the suspects but were were unsuccessful, according to sheriff’s officials.

All three suspects were described as Hispanic males, between the ages of 17 and 21, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing about 170 pounds, sheriff’s officials said.

The first suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt with black jeans and a black bandana covering his face.

The second suspect wore a gray hooded sweatshirt with black jeans and a red bandana covering his face.

The third suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt with black shorts and white socks and a black bandana covering his face, according to sheriff’s officials.
