MARIN COUNTY (KRON) — Gusty winds and heavy rain may the reason for thousands to lose power all over the Bay Area Tuesday morning.
The largest power outage is in Marin County centered around San Rafael and is affecting 4,019 residents, according to PG&E.
The power went out around 3:45 a.m. It was estimated that the power would return around 5:45 a.m. but some residents are reporting that their power is still out.
Another 1,245 residents have lost power in Burlingame around 3:42 a.m. PG&E estimated that the power won’t be restored until 7:30 a.m.
PG&E is assessing the situations and working to restore power.
The cause of the outages are unknown but weather is suspected.
