Caltrain strikes vehicle in Redwood City, expect delays

REDWOOD CITY (KRON) — A northbound Caltrain has struck an unoccupied vehicle near Maple Street in Redwood City Wednesday night, SamTrans said.

Riders should expect delays in the area.

The vehicle has been removed from tracks. All trains are moving but residual delays are still expected.

There were 145 passengers and 15 bikes on the train. There are no reported injuries.

Emergency crews were on the scene.

No other information was made immediately available by Caltrain.
