TOKYO (KRON) — Residents of Tokyo had a good laugh when a man decided to spread some holiday cheer in a unique way.
A British man, Joseph Tame, who lives in Tokyo dressed up as a Christmas tree and ran through the streets of the city.
Tame says his goal is to make people life and smile when they don’t expect it.
He even went to parts of the city that weren’t lit up by lights to ensure a surprise.
Tame previously gained popularity in Japan by running in marathons and cheering on other runners while wearing windmills on his head. He also runs a small video production and digital media business.
He starting dressing up last week and ventures out onto the city streets for several hours at a time.
