PLEASANT HILL (KRON) — Pleasant Hill police have arrested a 27-year-old man who allegedly robbed a GameStop on Christmas Eve–and then tried to rob another, according to police.
Police said they received a report of a robbery at the GameStop at 552 Contra Costa Blvd. at around 2:11 p.m. The suspect ran away from the business with video games, police said.
About five hours later, police responded to a GameStop at 2360 Monument Blvd. to a report of a person refusing to leave the store. When officers arrived, they said they found 27-year-old Richard Luis Hernandez, of Pittsburg, with a replica gun.
Police took Hernandez into custody and said he was trying to rob that store too.
He was booked into County Jail for two counts of robbery, police said.
