San Jose police investigating Christmas morning fatal stabbing

SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose police are investigating a homicide that happened on Christmas morning, according to Ofc. Albert Morales.

Police said it happened at around 5:36 a.m. on the 200 block of North 26th Street in downtown San Jose. A person reported a stabbing there, police said.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one stab wound. He died at the hospital a short time later, police said.

San Jose police are still investigating the scene.

The motive is not known at this time, police said.
