$1.4 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Union City

UNION CITY (KRON) — No one may have won the $500 million jackpot on Wednesday, but someone did win $1.4 million with a ticket bought at a Union City liquor store, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket was purchased at Perry’s Liquor store at 31885 Alvarado Blvd.

The ticket matched all five number, 02-11-47-62-63, but missed the Powerball number of 17.

The next Powerball drawing will be on Saturday and is estimated to be worth up to $675 million, the largest jackpot in U.S. history.

At this time, it is unknown who bought the winning Union City ticket.
