NEW YORK (KRON) — When a New York woman went into labor, her husband grabbed the overnight bag, got a hold of their birthing coach, and ordered an Uber.
But, according to DailyMail.com, when the Uber arrived, the driver refused to take them to the hospital after the woman threw up on the sidewalk.
The driver claimed he would lose $1,000 if she made a mess in his car. Even after the couple said they would cover the cleaning cost, he refused to take them and even charged them for his time.
Uber has released a statement saying the drivers actions were unacceptable and against policy.
Luckily, the family got another Uber without any problems, and the mom delivered a healthy baby boy at the hospital.
