Police search for bank robbery suspect in Mountain View

MOUNTAIN VIEW (BCN) — Police in Mountain View are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery earlier in January.

Officers responded at 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 8 to the California Bank and Trust in the 700 block of West El Camino Real.

Police said the suspect entered the bank and demanded money. The bank teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the man then walked out of the bank.

He was last seen walking toward View Street.

The suspect is described as a black man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender to medium build. He was wearing a black beanie with neon yellow and white writing, a black jacket that had a zipper on the right front side of the shoulder, blue jeans and white shoes. He was also wearing sunglasses.
