SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Being a 6-foot tall, 195-pounds 2-year-old affords you plenty of perks, like being the headlining act at the Golden Gate Kennel Club show kicking off this Saturday.
We’re talking about Quincy, the mammoth-sized Irish Wolfhound. He’s in town to compete in the 117th and 118th annual dog show taking place at the Cow Palace.
The gentle giant may not grow taller, but his owner says Quincy will pack on more weight.
“They don’t really eat as much as you would think because they are relatively lazy, so they’re burning off a lot of energy,”
The Golden Gate Kennel Show runs all weekend at the Cow Palace.
