LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles fire crews have doused a massive blaze fueled by combustible storage and propane cylinders at a commercial building in the Glassell Park area.
Firefighters used several water cannons to keep the flames from spreading to adjoining buildings early Monday.
Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott says the blaze on North Fierro Street was knocked down in about an hour and 40 minutes.
At the fire’s height, television news footage showed huge flames shooting up through the block-long structure’s roof.
No injuries are reported.
The cause is under investigation.
