Police seek man who allegedly robbed a Livermore gas station

LIVERMORE (KRON) — Police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed a Livermore gas station.

Early Wednesday morning at 2:53 a.m. officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Shell gas station at 4530 Las Positas Road.

Officers arrived to scene and were told a man walked into the gas station and handed the store clerk a note, saying he had a gun and wanted money from the register.

The clerk, fearing for her life, handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

According to police, the suspect fled the scene in an older model black sedan with tinted windows.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with black hair and a mustache, between 20 and 30-years-old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds.

Images of the suspect were captured on surveillance video. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Livermore police at 925-371-4777.
