Super Bowl 50: Super fans arrive at Levi’s Stadium

SANTA CLARA (KRON) — Fans from all over the nation are in Santa Clara to watch the Carolina Panthers play the Denver Broncos for Super Bowl 50 on Sunday morning.

KRON 4’s Will Tran talked with some superfans from North Carolina and Denver who are in town for the big game.

A pair of father and daughter die-hard Panther fans shared their story with Tran. The daughter paid big bucks to surprise her father with a Super Bowl 50 ticket.

Another group of Panthers superfans were able to go to the big game because of one man who bought tickets for all of his brothers.

The three tickets cost him $14,000. The whole trip including hotel and airfare costs them upwards of $18,000.

An expensive trip, but for the three Carolina superfans, they said it was well worth it.
