SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police have released the names of two of the three people killed in a fiery crash following a CHP chase Saturday night amid Super Bowl festivities.

The crash happened near Brannan and Ninth Streets in San Francisco. One of the dead is identified as 27-year old Gene Mollique Jr. of Bay Point. The second man is 31-year old David Hamilton III of Antioch, police said.

The third person killed in the car has not been named pending notification of their family.

Fire crews found two bodies inside while working to extinguish the fire.

A third body was found ejected from a vehicle near the crash site.

All three victims were male, CHP said.

The highway patrol had responded to reports of a car doing donuts. And when they arrived, the car took off and raced through red lights before crashing into a taxi and burst into flames.
