Suspects steal more than $10,000 in merchandise from Union Square store

 

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Several suspects stole more than $10,000 in merchandise from a Union Square store on Tuesday night, according to San Francisco police.

Police said the male and female suspects entered the store located in the 200 block of Post Street at around 6:30 p.m. They then started to leave without paying for the items, police said.

When a store employee attempted to stop them, they forced their way out the door with the merchandise.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call the Central Police Station investigation team at (415) 315-2400, the department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444, or can send a tip by text message to TIP411 and start the message with “SFPD.”
