LAKE TAHOE (KRON) — In the Sierra, the weather is making for a great time on the ski slopes. Many Bay Area schools are out this week for Ski Week.
Heavenly/Kirkwood ski resort spokesman Kevin Cooper, also known as “Coop,” talks to KRON’s Grant Lodes about how the slopes are holding up, with the temperatures inching upward.
It might feel like September, but this is one of the busiest weeks of the year for resorts in the Sierra.
A storm system is expected to come into Northern California on Wednesday.
