PLEASANTON (KRON) — Two 17-year-olds were arrested Monday in connection with Stoneridge Mall robberies, police announced.
The suspects were arrested around 5 p.m. by the Oakland Police Department.
One suspect is still on the loose, according to police.
On Saturday evening around 8 p.m., the suspects allegedly punched and robbed a 17-year-old girl at Stoneridge Mall in a Honda Pilot that was stolen. They then drove to the San Leandro BART station and stole a Mercedes.
On Sunday afternoon, the suspects went back to Pleasanton in the stolen Mercedes and robbed a 63-year-old woman outside of the Stoneridge mall.
Suspects were then arrested Monday in the stolen Mercedes, police said.
Police were able to connect the two by conducting an interview with the suspects.
The names of the suspects has not been released.
