Dine and Dish: Concord’s Nola Po Boy Kitchen brings real New Orleans food

CONCORD (KRON) — Do you have a craving for real down-home New Orleans food but don’t want to jump on a plane?

On Wednesday’s Dine and Dish, Vicki Liviakis takes us to a hidden gem in Concord this side of Louisiana.

Back home is New Orleans for Darryl, who is a former cop who opened Nola in Concord four years ago. And it’s been making fans of catfish and grits happy ever since.

There’s wings and waffles, and all things creole. Just ask Queen B.

Let’s not forget frog legs and gator, deep fry of course.

Nola is all about the word of mouth.
