SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A fight between two females Thursday evening in San Francisco left a male witness dead and one female hospitalized, both after being stabbed.
On Thursday at 7:41 p.m. officers responded to the corner of Turk and Leavenworth streets in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district on a report of a fight and a stabbing, according to police spokesperson, Officer Albie Esparza.
Officers learned an altercation between two females had occurred.
As the two females were fighting, a male intervened in effort to stop the fight.
Another male, suspect, confronted the male and stabbed him several times.
A 40-year-old female who was involved in the fight was also stabbed, although it is unclear who stabbed her.
The unknown suspected male and other female involved in the altercation, allegedly stabbed the two, then both fled the scene, according to police.
The other male and female victims were taken to a hospital.
The male victim died at the hospital and the female victim was treated for injuries not considered life threatening.
Police currently do not have any suspect information and are continuing to investigate the incident.
