SANTA CLARA (KRON) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Caltrain Sunday night in Santa Clara, according to authorities.
Southbound Caltrain 442 hit the pedestrian at about 7:50 p.m. near the Santa Clara Station and De La Cruz Boulevard, Caltrain spokeswoman Jayme Ackemann said.
Investigators held the train as they conducted a brief investigation.
All trains have resumed normal service.
