(KRON) Sunday morning will come awfully early as we lose one hour of sleep. Daylight saving time returns this weekend at 2 a.m. March 13, 2016.
That means it is time to Spring Forward.
The annual change comes in the middle of the night, but most people usually set their clocks back before heading to bed Saturday night.
You may have lose a bit of sleep, but in the months ahead you’ll gain an extra hour of sunlight in the evenings.
It’s also a good time to replace batteries in warning devices such as smoke detectors.
The time change isn’t observed by Hawaii, most of Arizona, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas.
