San Bruno police looking for bank robbery suspect

SAN BRUNO (KRON) — San Bruno police are searching for a bank robbery suspect who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Lt. Tim Mahon said.

Police said the robbery happened at around 4:13 p.m. on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Bank at 875 El Camino Real. When officers arrived, they found the suspect had gone into the bank, demanded money, and ran away with the cash, Mahon said.

The suspect did not have a weapon, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man between 20 and 30 years old. He was about 6 feet tall, with a beard, and was wearing all black.

The suspect ran away from the bank southbound on El Camino Real.
