Seven residents displaced in two-alarm Fremont apartment fire

FREMONT (KRON) — Seven residents have been displaced after a two-alarm fire broke out at a Fremont apartment complex Tuesday night, according to Fremont fire Chf. Diane Hendry.

It happened at around 9:30 p.m. on the 38000 block of Fremont Boulevard. The fire involved three units at the apartments.

Crews were able to put out the fire within about 40 minutes, Hendry said.

No injuries were reported.

An estimated cost of the damage by the blaze has not yet been determined.
