DUBLIN (KRON) — A man who allegedly robbed a bank branch inside a grocery store in Dublin on Tuesday is highly suspected of numerous other bank robberies throughout the Bay Area and the Central Valley.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in the ongoing investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect, according to Dublin Lt. Nathan Schmidt.
The suspect came to the U.S. Bank Branch at Safeway located at 4440 Tassajara Road around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and gave the clerk a note demanding money.
The clerk then gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the store on foot.
Police describe the suspect as a white male standing between 5 foot 8 inches to 6 feet, weighing about 170 pounds, and wearing a yellow-colored Notre Dame baseball cap, dark-colored sunglasses, a black short-sleeve button-up shirt and blue jeans.
