(WJTV)–The suspected killer in the death investigation of Natalee Holloway reportedly made a confession about her disappearance.
Joran van der Sloot said that he lied to authorities during the investigation in a video, according to RadarOnline.com.
The video was reportedly recorded of Joran van der Sloot in a Peru prison. He was never convicted for Holloway’s disappearance and death but is serving time for the murder of Stephany Flores. Flores was found dead in a hotel room in Peru in 2010.
Natalee disappeared while she was on a senior high school trip in Aruba in 2005. Van der Sloot remained as the top suspect throughout the investigation because he was one of the last people to see the teenager alive. Authorities let him go because they said there was not enough evidence to charge him with her murder.
RadarOnline.com said Joran van der Sloot told them that the Holloway investigation was one of the worst police investigations that ever took place.
