SAN JOSE (KRON) — Pop culture and technology are colliding this weekend at the San Jose Convention Center.
That is where the first annual Silicon Valley Comic Con will take place. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The expo celebrates all things in nerd and geek culture and costumes are encouraged.
There will be cosplay going on, rare comics, memorabilia, and collectibles will be on sale. New consumer electronics and technology will be on display.
Big name authors and artists will be on hand giving autographs. And celebrities, including Star Trek star William Shatner, the cast of “Back to the Future,” and Jeremy Renner, will be there for photo opportunities.
Our Tech Trends reporter Gabe slate spoke with the show creator, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
