Pedestrian hit by light-rail vehicle in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A pedestrian was hit by a light-rail vehicle in the Dogpatch on Wednesday night, San Francisco police said.

Capt. Vaswani, commanding officer of the Bay View Police Station, announced via Twitter around 10 p.m. that a crash involving a light rail vehicle and a pedestrian had occurred in the vicinity of Third and Mariposa

Vaswani said delays could be expected through the area.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital.

Further details were not immediately available.
