OAKLAND (KRON) —The A’s take on the Chicago White Sox Monday night at Oakland Coliseum.

Gates opened at noon and the first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

The Athletics are taking on the Chicago White Sox, we have Kron 4’s J.R. Stone following this story.

According to J.R., there has already been some drama involving the A’s starting pitcher.

Fan’s at the tailgate shared their opinions on the pitcher’s food poisoning dilemma, which caused him not to play on Monday.

“Oh you know hoping to have Sunny start the game today but unfortunately, he got a little food poisoning, which I can guarantee you here at the tailgate, there’s no food poisoning at play…I’ll tell you this, if Sunny were eating at our barbecue, Sunny would be pitching today. But instead, he chose to eat somewhere else”, said Athletics fan.
