FAIRFIELD (KRON) — Two people were arrested Sunday in Fairfield on suspicion of an armed attack at a motel last month.
Fairfield residents Jennifer Ebert, 37, and Tito Manuel, 40, were arrested at 6:09 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Texas Street.
Police allege the two assaulted and held a female victim at gunpoint while trying to rob her of money in a motel room on March 14 in the 2200 block of North Texas Street, according to police.
After the arrest, officers searched the suspect’s motel room and allegedly found illegally possessed narcotics and ammunition. Both suspects are felons and are not allowed to possess ammunition, police said.
Ebert and Manuel were booked into the county jail on suspicion of assault, attempted robbery, possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of ammunition and violating probation.
