Contra Costa CO. (KRON) — A suspect stabbed two people at a birthday party early Sunday morning in unincorporated Byron, according to fire and Contra Costa County sheriff’s officials Monday.
Deputies learned that a fight broke out early Sunday morning during a birthday party that led to the stabbing.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident at 3:16 a.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of Camino Diablo in Byron.
The suspect fled the scene and was not found during a search aided by a K-9 unit, sheriff’s officials said.
Two victims were found suffering stab wounds at the scene.
One victim suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment, according to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District. The other victim suffered a minor injury and refused medical care.
No suspect or victims have been identified at this time.
