SAN JOSE (KRON) — Police officials have identified the victim of a late Monday night shooting in East San Jose as 24-year-old Carlos Silvestre Soto Ojeda, police said Wednesday.
Officers responded around 10:50 p.m. on a report of firearms discharged, Ojeda, a San Jose resident, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the 2700 block of Sand Point Drive.
Responding officers found Ojeda on the ground and emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.
Suspects have not been identified and no arrests have been made in the case, which has been classified as a homicide, according to police officials.
Police are seeking the public’s help for any information.
