Suspects allegedly commit armed robbery at Santa Rosa hotel

SANTA ROSA (KRON) — Police arrested two suspects in Santa Rosa Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery at a hotel.

Around 4:20 p.m, the suspects stole between $600 and $700 from a man they held at gunpoint and knifepoint, according to authorities.

Police found one of the suspects an hour later on Down Drive near Corby Avenue. The victim was able to identify the other suspect on the loose, according to police.

21–year-old Melissa Hisel and 51-year-old Jim Alexander Ragle Jr were arrested on suspicion of robbery, threatening to commit a crime to terrorize, kidnapping to commit a robbery, and preventing or dissuading a witness.

The Santa Rosa Police Department say they believe there could potentially be a third suspect in the robbery who successfully fled the scene.
