(KRON/BCN) — A truck driver was arrested early Thursday morning in San Anselmo after a traffic stop led officers to the discovery of a variety of narcotics packaged for sale, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.
Police said officers stopped the driver of a truck at 2:27 a.m. on Sir Frances Drake Boulevard for an equipment violation and officers were able to spot a marijuana pipe inside the cab.
Officers searched the truck and the driver allegedly admitted that he was making “honey oil” at his home for personal use, according to police.
Honey oil is the extracted oil from marijuana in a concentrated form.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges including possessing, transporting, and manufacturing narcotics, according to police.
Police continued their investigation and served a search warrant later that day at the suspect’s San Geronimo home, police said.
