Husband, wife dead in San Jose double homicide

SAN JOSE (KRON) – A 59-year-old man his 57-year-old wife were found dead Sunday afternoon in a double homicide in San Jose, police said.

Officers responded at 1:47 p.m. to the 3000 block of Lucas Court, according to police.

Upon arrival, police entered the home and found the two bodies.

Police said both people were found dead under suspicious circumstances.

Investigators identified the victims as Shamima Rabbi and her husband Golam Rabbi, both of San Jose.

The suspects remain at large, according to police.

The victims were both long time volunteers at the evergreen Islamic center here in San Jose.

On Monday, the center extended their condolences to the family and asked for God to grant them strength and patience during the investigation.
