Police search for a 15-year-old girl, that has been missing since Thursday

PLEASANT HILL (BCN) – A 15-year-old Pleasant Hill girl who has been missing since Thursday may have left her home to meet up with her boyfriend in Oakland, police said today.

Jenna Graves, 15, was reported missing at 8:42 p.m. when she didn’t come home from Alhambra High School in Martinez, according to police.

Investigators believe she got on a bus from Alhambra Avenue to the Concord BART station around 3 p.m. Graves was then seen walking towards the BART station entrance, police said.

Investigators believe Graves was planning to leave her home and took extra clothes with her. Before she went missing, she had allegedly talked about visiting a new boyfriend in Oakland, according to police.

Investigators have been unable to locate Graves, and her cellphone is off.

Police said Graves appears physically mature for her age, but is developmentally disabled.

She’s described as a white female standing five feet three inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.

Graves has reddish-brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She has a noticeable tracheotomy scar on her throat. Police said she tends to wear heavy makeup and dark or black clothing.

Investigators do not know what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, but she’s believed to be carrying a black and gray backpack.

Anyone with information about Graves’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Pleasant Hill Police Department at (925) 288-4600.
