OAKLAND (KRON) — It was another heroic performance by the Golden State Warriors without their superstar Stephen Curry as they beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-106. They now lead the Western Conference Semi-Finals series 1-0.

Klay Thompson stepped up in the absence of his Splash Brother and had 37 points with 7 three-pointers. Draymond Green also chipped in and had a triple-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Oakland-born Damian Lillard had 30 points in his hometown.

Curry told Lisa Salter’s during an in-game interview that to him, the chances of playing in Game 3 are “pretty good.”

The Warriors and Blazers will play Game 2 at Oracle Arena on Tuesday night at 7:30.
