LeBron James to star, Justin Lin to direct Space Jam 2

(KRON) — Cleveland Cavaliers’ and NBA superstar LeBron James will star in Space Jam 2, according to the Hollywood Reporter and multiple other reports.

Producers have already spoke with popular director Justin Lin to be the man behind the scenes of the upcoming flick. Lin was a director for Fast and Furious 6.

The first Space Jam starred Michael Jordan and came out in 1996. It made $230 million worldwide and is considered one of the biggest sports movies of all-time.

An expected date of release has yet to come out.

James and the Cavaliers are currently in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals with about a month and a half of the NBA Playoffs still remaining.
