Police in Massachusetts warn the public the cost of having bumper stickers

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – The Ludlow Police Department posted a photo explaining the dangers of revealing too much information on a bumper. Police said thieves can use information such as your school, or military affiliations to target you.

Not everyone agrees. Justin Lazarus of Longmeadow told WWLP-TV that people express themselves through bumper stickers; “I don’t have any bumper stickers, but I do believe its freedom of speech and individualism.”

The post advises against giving criminals free information, such as where you park, where your child goes to school, or even the names of your family members.
