Tech Report: See why LeVar Burton and Andre Agassi were in town and asking for Silicon Valley’s help


SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — On the campus of Stanford on Thursday, a symposium on the role of technology in the future of education took place.

It brought together graduate students, neuroscientists, Google executives, Silicon Valley start-ups, and celebrities.

Former tennis star, Andre Agassi, and Co-founder of RRKIDZ LeVar Burton, from “Reading Rainbow” and the “Star Trek” TV show and movies, were both on hand showcasing their foundations helping early education.

KRON’s Gabe Slate was there and shows us what is being developed to help our kids better prepare for school.
