ALAMEDA (KRON) — Alameda police are investigating an illegal scavenger hunt organized by high school students throughout the Bay Area, according to a Facebook post by the department.
Police said the scavenger hunt involved inappropriate, dangerous, and illegal activity. It involves drinking, explosive devices, illegal drugs, and sexual activity.
“This will not be tolerated and the Alameda Police Department will be conducting zero tolerance enforcement. This behavior is dangerous and illegal, and can negatively impact their lives for years to come. We are asking for everyone’s help in discouraging and preventing this activity,” Alameda police said on their Facebook page.
