CEO Mark Zuckerberg responds to claims of liberal news bias on Facebook

MENLO PARK (KRON) —¬†Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he wants to meet with conservative leaders after Facebook was accused of liberal news bias.

On his Facebook page, Zuckerberg said on Thursday his company is investigating the claim of bias but has found no evidence that the claims are true.

Accusations recently surfaced that Facebook was preventing pro-conservative stories from showing up in Facebook’s trending stories section.

Zuckerberg said he plans to invite leading conservatives to discuss their points of view in the coming weeks.
