Sprint store in Daly City robbed, suspect brandished screwdriver at employee

DALY CITY (KRON) — Daly City Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Sprint store on Sunday.

Officers with the Daly City Police Department responded at 1:45 p.m. to the Spring store at the Westlake Shopping Center on report of a robbery.

Officers said an unknown suspect entered the store, brandished a screwdriver and stole two Samsung Galaxy S7 cellphones.

The suspect brandished the screwdriver to an employee who attempted to detain him, according to police.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 20 and 25-years-old, standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. The suspect was wearing ripped white coveralls, a black crew neck T-shirt, blue jeans and a black beanie.
