SANTA ROSA (BCN) — A man was arrested in Santa Rosa on Sunday afternoon after police received numerous calls reporting him causing a disturbance and being in possession of a firearm.
Police said officers responded at 2:55 p.m. to the 2800 block of Apple Valley Lane and contacted 37-year-old Enrique Patino, who allegedly had a 9mm handgun in his waistband.
According to police, there were no bullets in the chamber of the gun, but there was a fully loaded magazine attached to it.
A records check revealed Patino had two active warrants for his arrest, as well as prior criminal convictions that prohibited him from possessing a firearm, according to police.
Police said Patino was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, possession of a loaded firearm and his outstanding warrants.
