SANTA CLARA COUNTY (KRON) — Four South Bay McDonald’s restaurants started selling garlic fries as a test product but there was one problem.
The fries became so popular that the restaurants ran out of garlic. But garlic lovers who did not have a chance to try them now can.
The fries are back.
The Gilroy Garlic Fries will be fresh to order, with garlic grown by Gilroy-based Christopher Ranch.
Besides garlic, the fries also have olive oil, parmesan cheese, parsley, and salt.
The fries are only available for a limited time.
But if they are popular enough, they might be offered at 250 Mcdonald’s restaurants in the Bay Area by August.
McDonald’s customers searching for the Garlic Fries will find them at:
• 509 Homestead Road Santa Clara, CA
• 2191 Monterey Road San Jose, CA
• 1398 W San Carlos Street San Jose, CA
• 4838 San Felipe Road San Jose, CA
