Firefighters contain 2-alarm Alamo Square fire

ALAMO SQUARE (KRON) — San Francisco firefighters contained a two-alarm fire in the city’s Alamo Square neighborhood on Monday afternoon, according to fire spokesman Jonathan Baxter.

The fire is burning at 605 Webster Street, Baxter said. Firefighters tweeted there was heavy fire on the upper floors.

The building that caught fire is multi-stories, and it caught fire at around 4:40 p.m.

No other information has been made available by firefighters.

No injuries have been reported.

Firefighters tweeted at around 4:45 p.m. the fire was contained.

Residents have been displaced in the fire, but the number is not known.
