LOS ANGELES (KRON) — Authorities are investigating a possible threat made at the Los Angeles International Airport Tuesday morning.
A plane from Houston landed safely at LAX after the airport got a TSA notification of a phone threat made to a call center in Houston regarding the plane, according to KTLA.
The American Eagle flight was en route to LAX. The airport received word of the threat at around 8:30 a.m.
The plane was already descending towards LAX. It was scheduled to land by 9:12 a.m.
Once the plane landed, it was moved to a remote location as authorities investigate.
Passengers are still inside the plane as officials assess the situation.
There are 72 people aboard the flight including the crew.
Officials have not released what kinds of threat was made.
