SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The gun that was stolen from an FBI’s agents car over the weekend has been recovered, according to FBI officials.
The gun, along with the agent’s badge, was taken from a car near San Francisco’s Alamo Square at around 12:30 on Sunday, police said.
Surveillance footage led police to believe the suspect was at a residence near the intersection of Keith and Thomas streets.
On Tuesday at around 11 a.m., a SWAT team served a federal search warrant at the residence.
One suspect was taken into federal custody.
The suspect allegedly took the agent’s gun, a .40-caliber Glock 27, as well as his ID badge and credentials, according to police.
The agent’s stolen credentials and badge have not yet been recovered.
